OUR LEADERS

Pastor Jewel Lee and Lady Laneace Lee are the founders of The Light Church Ministries, Inc, established in 2014. Pastor Jewel, anointed at 14 and ordained in 2004, leads with a vision to empower others through God’s Word. Lady Laneace, a registered nurse, serves alongside him, directing Hope Now House and WeLEAD Christian Learning Center. Together, they are passionate about ministry, family, and preparing people to be The Light. They are committed to helping others grow spiritually, live healthily, and strengthen family bonds.

OUR FOUNDERS

Dr. Prophet Kelvin R. Battle and Pastor Joyce Battle were the visionary founders of The Victorious Gospel Ministries Inc. in Baltimore, MD. United in both ministry and marriage, they dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel and serving their community. Dr. Kelvin Battle, a gifted prophet and leader, and Pastor Joyce Battle, a passionate educator and prayer warrior, established the ministry in 1998, focusing on outreach, education, and spiritual growth. Pastor Joyce Battle faithfully carried forward their shared vision after Dr. Battle’s passing in 2020, ensuring their legacy of faith and service endures until her passing in 2024.
